      In the past, I have relied upon folks downloading GOULDREF.GED to honor the terms of its use as specified in the README.TXT file accompanying the Gedcom.  Unfortunately, someone betrayed that trust and in an effort to protect myself from legal liability, I must now ask you to explicitly acknowledge your agreement to those terms in the following on-line form.  I regret this new requirement, but it's a necessary one.
      I hereby agree that my use of the GOULDREF.GED file I am about to download shall be strictly limited to my own personal genealogical research of the Gould family lineage.  I also acknowledge my awareness that some of the contents of this file are known to be copyrighted and agree NOT to place this material in the "Public Domain", declare it as "Freeware", "Shareware", or "Copyrighted" by any other party, without the express permission of those who hold copyrights for some of the included material.  Furthermore, I accept full legal liability for any misuse on my part of this gedcom file for any purposes other than personal genealogical research.
